  • Kisii University Masters and Doctor of Philosophy Degree Scholarships, 2017-18 are open to teaching staff who wish to pursue postgraduate programs in Livestock and Agricultural Biosciences.
  • The age of Master Degree applicants must not exceed 40 years while that of Doctoral degree applicants shouldn't exceed 45 years.
  • Applicants of Kisii University Masters and Doctor of Philosophy Degree Scholarships, 2017-18 must fulfill the following criteria corresponding to their program:
    • MSc. Limnology: A bachelor of science degree in Applied Aquatic Sciences, Fisheries, Aquaculture, Environment, Natural resources or similar biological science disciplines with at least second class honors (upper division) from a recognized university.
    • MSc. Fisheries/MSc. Aquaculture:  A bachelor of science degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Applied Aquatic Sciences, natural resources or similar biological science disciplines with at least second class honors (upper division) from a recognized university.
    • PhD. Limnology: Master degree in Limnology, Fisheries, and Aquaculture, Applied Aquatic Sciences or similar biological science disciplines from a recognized university.
    • Ph.D. Fisheries: Master degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Applied Aquatic Sciences, Limnology or similar biological science disciplines from a recognized university.
    • MSc. Agricultural Education and Extension: A bachelor of science degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Education and Extension or similar biological science disciplines with at least second class honors (upper division) from a recognized university.
    • Ph.D. Agricultural Education and Extension: MSc. Degree in Agricultural Education, Agricultural Extension, agricultural education, and extension or similar agricultural disciplines from a recognized university
  • MSc degree applicants of Kisii University Masters and Doctor of Philosophy Degree Scholarships, 2017-18 should submit concept notes in 2-3 pages in their interest area while Ph.D. Program applicants should submit full proposals.
