Kentfield Scholarship at Imperial College London
The Kentfield Scholarship is an undergraduate award for prospective students with a Home tuition fee status. It offers a bursary of GBP 15,000 per year for up to four years, with five awards available for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Eligibility Criteria of Kentfield Scholarship:
- The applicant must have an offer of admission from the College to study a three-year or four-year full-time undergraduate course in the Faculty of Engineering starting in autumn 2025.
- The applicant must possess a Home fee status and qualify for the College's contextual admissions route.
Selection Criteria: The Department the applicant has applied to within the Faculty of Engineering will assess academic merit based on predicted A-Level results and the UCAS application form. Applicants will be ranked by their respective Departments, and the final selection from the shortlist will be made by the Faculty of Engineering.
Application Process:
- The applicant must submit a UCAS application for a course in the Faculty of Engineering and obtain an offer of admission.
- The applicant must complete the scholarship application form (applicable for both the Kentfield Scholarship and BP Widening Participation Scholarships), including a personal statement as per the form’s instructions.
Award: A cash bursary of GBP 15,000 per academic year to cover maintenance/ living costs.
Note:
- The scholarship amount will be adjusted if the awardee also receives the Imperial Bursary, ensuring the total funding does not exceed the average of the upper cost-of-living band.
- This scholarship is not available to continuing students.
