Eligibility criteria for the Kent LLM Solicitors’ Practice Scholarship (Canterbury):

  • Applicants must have applied for the taught Kent LLM in Solicitors’ Practice for September 2026 entry.
  • Applicants must have achieved a 2:1 or equivalent in a Law degree at Bachelor's level.
  • Applicants must have completed their Law degree at an institution other than the University of Kent.
  • Applicants must have received an offer of a place on the LLM in Solicitors’ Practice by the scholarship application deadline.
  • Overseas applicants must hold a valid passport demonstrating nationality of a country receiving ODA funding from the OECD.
  • Overseas applicants must be classified by the University of Kent as an Overseas student for tuition fee purposes.
  • Overseas applicants must be fully self-funded.

Application process for the Kent LLM Solicitors’ Practice Scholarship (Canterbury):

  • Applicants must provide a short personal statement of 500 words demonstrating what they have done during the course of their law degree to pursue a career as a solicitor.
