John R. Dervay II, Memorial Scholarship

The John R. Dervay II Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of John R. Dervay II, MS ’73, BS ’67, and it helps to provide support to freshmen majoring in Chemical Engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

Eligibility criteria for the John R. Dervay II Memorial Scholarship:

• Applicants must be incoming freshmen.
• Applicants must be majoring in Chemical Engineering.
• Applicants must be enrolled in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
• Applicants must demonstrate their financial needs.

Application process for the John R. Dervay II Memorial Scholarship:

• Applicants will be automatically considered based on the completed General Application.
• Applicants must submit their FAFSA.
• Ineligible applicants who have not submitted their FAFSA may demonstrate financial need through the General Application by selecting “Yes” to the Financial Hardship question and providing a brief explanation.
• The scholarship may be renewable for up to four years.
