Eligibility Criteria of Joan Mattingley and Charles Cameron Scholarship:

  • Be current full-time or transferring students enrolling in a Master’s degree program in Chemistry or Music at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
  • Be either domestic or international students.
  • Preferably have completed all or a substantial portion of their undergraduate degree in:
    • Chemistry (School of Chemical and Physical Sciences), or
    • Music (Te Kōkī – New Zealand School of Music).
  • Submit a detailed budget and plan outlining the intended use of scholarship funds (may include domestic or international travel for research, conferences, or auditions).

Application Process:

A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. 

Award:

  • NZD 15,000
  • Annually, up to two individuals will be awarded, with one awardee from the field of Chemistry and another from the field of Music.
