To provide two scholarships of $1,500 for MSW and BASW students currently enrolled in the School of Social Work.

Eligibility Criteria for Joan Cummerton Social Work Endowed Scholarship at San Francisco State University:

Applicants must:

Be currently enrolled MSW or BASW students in the School of Social Work
Be continuing students at San Francisco State University at the time of award
Be enrolled at least half-time
Not be receiving Title IV-E, IBH, PBH, or HCAI stipends
Submit a financial need statement.

A financial need statement (maximum one page) explaining why the scholarship is needed
A personal statement describing involvement in promoting gender equity (through academics, community work, research, or related activities).
