Eligibility Criteria for the Izaak Walton Killam Doctoral Scholarship 2025:
Applicants must:
- Be registered full-time in a doctoral program at the University of Calgary.
- Be in their first, second, or third year of doctoral studies at the time of holding the award (fourth-year students may be considered in exceptional cases).
- Not be eligible for funding through the Canada Council for the Arts.
Value of Izaak Walton Killam Doctoral Scholarship 2025:
- $45,000 per year for two years.
- Includes an additional $5,000 Killam Research Scholarship to support research-related expenses (equipment, conferences, or travel).
- If a recipient receives a major external award during the same period, the combined total funding will be adjusted to $55,000.
