Islamic Scholarship Fund 2024

ISF has given 574 scholarships to American Muslim academics since 2009 who are pursuing studies and careers in areas including political science, government, public policy, international relations, and public administration that have the most influence on public opinion and policy. Scholarships about policy are awarded between $3,000– $5,000. Increasing the number of Muslim politicians, improving unfavorable news representations of Muslims, and funding the production of interesting and positive narratives about American Muslims are the objectives.

Eligibility for  Islamic Scholarship Fund:

• The applicant must practice Islam or be a practicing Muslim in the community.
• By August, the applicant has to be enrolled full-time at a U.S. institution that has earned accreditation OR employed full-time in an ISF-supported field while attending part-time classes at a U.S. university that has earned accreditation.
• Additionally acceptable are undergraduate degrees (junior or senior) and graduate degrees (master's, PhD, or law degree). 
• The candidate must maintain a least 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in an ISF-supported major.
• Only citizens or DACA beneficiaries who are lawfully permanent residents of the United States may apply.
