Seniors in high school who have excelled academically are given this scholarship.
Eligibility for the Isaac Bashevis Singer Scholarship at the University of Miami:
- An undergraduate program of study must be completed full-time by a Singer Scholar with a minimum of 12 credit hours in each of the fall and spring semesters, for a total of no less than 24 credit hours across the academic year.
- At the University of Miami, a 3.0 GPA is required for the entire academic year; the first semester's worth of attendance is used for this calculation.
- If a grant, scholarship, or prepaid tuition or housing aid is received that was not anticipated at the time the award was made, the amount awarded may be revised.
