International Excellence Scholarship at James Cook University 2025

Eligibility for the International Excellence Scholarship:

• Be international students commencing study at James Cook University (JCU) for the first time.
• Intend to study full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
• Meet the academic requirement:
  • Undergraduate applicants: ATAR 65 or equivalent
  • Postgraduate applicants: 65% or above achievement (where 50% is a pass mark)
• Not receiving full-tuition scholarships/sponsorships such as:
  • Australia Awards
  • SACM (Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission) funding
  • Other full government scholarships
• Not be transferring from joint programs or applying as study abroad or exchange students.

Value of the Scholarship:

The JCU International Excellence Scholarship provides a 25% tuition fee reduction throughout the entire duration of approved full-degree study programs, provided recipients maintain a strong GPA each semester.

Application:

Scholarship eligibility is automatically assessed during the JCU admissions process. No separate application is required.
