• International Award For Contributions In Cancer Care, 2022 is available to candidates who work and reside outside of the United States of America.
• The applicant must be an RN or equivalent.
• The applicant working in any setting can apply for the award.
• Applicants who have contributed to the improvement of cancer care in one or more of the following areas: clinical practice, research, education, or administration are considered.
• Applicants who have implemented or created a program e.g., patient education program, clinical procedure/skill, and pain management will be considered.
• Applicants who are involved in supporting a professional oncology organization e.g., a cancer society, nursing organization, or cancer coalition are highly preferred.
• Candidates who are an advocate for cancer survivors through influence on government policy/media and publications are preferred.
• Candidates involved in making a change in healthcare and education standards in nursing practice are considered for International Award For Contributions In Cancer Care, 2019.
