You may be chosen to earn a full Ph.D. scholarship if you have a solid track record of academic achievement at the undergraduate or master's level and a strong desire to enroll in The University of Edinburgh's School of Informatics Ph.D. program.

Eligibility Criteria for Informatics Global PhD Scholarship:

  • The applicant may come from any nationality.
  • The applicant must be enrolled in the Informatics Engineering PhD program at the university.
  • The applicant must be commencing the studies in September 2025. 

Application Process:

All eligible candidates are automatically considered for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded the following benefits:

  • Tuition fees for three years (Home or Overseas rate).
  • Fourth-year matriculation fee.
  • Stipend at UKRI level for three and a half years.
  • Entitlement to paid leave (illness, maternity, etc.).
