H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship offered by the Abu Dhabi University is dedicated to empowering outstanding students and inspiring them to pursue their educational objectives. Our scholarship and financial aid program represents a key pillar in our strategy for academic excellence and reflects our commitment to supporting the development of the UAE. We consider it an important national duty to provide equal opportunities for students interested in pursuing higher education and enable them to proactively contribute to society regardless of their financial situation.

Eligibility Requirements :

  • Applicants must be UAE nationals and enrolled full-time in the university.
  • Applicants must be top 20 students from public high schools in the UAE directly enrolling at ADU in the fall after graduating.
  • Applicants must be chosen and officially approved by the Office of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed AI Nahyan.
  • Applicants must meet the English language proficiency requirements defined by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
  • Applicants must have a minimum EmSAT Math score of 1,200, an English score of 1,600, and an Arabic score of 900 for all colleges.

     Ongoing Scholarship Maintenance:

  • A minimum CGPA of 3.70.
  • A minimum of 12 passed credit hours per semester, except for the Winter and Summer terms.
  • The scholarship will not cover repeated courses including courses graded as F, WA, and W.

Application Process :

  • The candidate must first be formally admitted to ADU and assigned a unique student ID number.
  • This ID number is used to securely log in to a university account that has a section for Financial Aid and Scholarships.
