Herbert Sutcliffe Hardship Scholarships at Victoria University of Wellington

The Herbert Sutcliffe Scholarship, established in 1989 through an endowment from the Wellington Branch of the Herbert Sutcliffe Schools of Radiant Living, supports students in the Humanities. Up to half of the annual funds may assist students facing financial hardship or those from underrepresented groups at the University.

Eligibility Criteria of Herbert Sutcliffe Hardship Scholarships:

1. Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a BA, BEd, BMus, or BA (Hons) programme at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
2. Applicants must be experiencing financial hardship.

Selection Criteria: 

1. One or more scholarships are awarded each year.
2. Priority is given to students facing financial hardship, particularly those from underrepresented groups at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.

Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Award: NZD 7,500.
