Harley Biddlecombe Legacy Award at Okanagan College 2026:

The Harley Biddlecombe Legacy Award supports Okanagan College students who have completed their first year of university studies, a degree, or a diploma programme and are continuing their education. Preference is given to students who have completed credits at the Penticton Campus and those returning to that campus.

Eligibility Criteria for the Harley Biddlecombe Legacy Award at Okanagan College 2026:

  • Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Applicant must be a member of Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, or the dependent of a Valley First member.
  • Applicant must have completed the first year of full-time study in a university studies, degree, or diploma programme at Okanagan College.
  • Applicant may receive preference if they have completed credits at the Penticton Campus.
  • Applicant must be returning to Okanagan College the following September for a subsequent semester of full-time study.
  • Applicant may receive preference if returning to the Penticton Campus.
  • Applicant must maintain a minimum 60% course load, or 40% for students with permanent disabilities.
  • Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need, with emphasis on financial need.

  • Apply through the Penticton Current/Returning Application.
  • The OC-Wide and Kelowna Awards Selection Committee selects the recipient(s).

Value of the Award:

  • Two awards based on the accrued annual interest on the endowment fund are awarded to the recipients.
