Goldsmid Fund Bursary at University College London
The Goldsmid Fund Bursary is designed to support UK students undertaking an undergraduate degree within UCL’s STEM faculty.
Eligibility Criteria of Goldsmid Fund Bursary:
- Applicants must be UK-domiciled with Home fee status and demonstrate financial need as assessed by UCL.
- They must hold an offer to study a full-time undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, Medical Sciences, Brain Sciences, Mathematical & Physical Sciences, or Life Sciences for the 2026/27 intake.
Selection Criteria:
- Selection is based on demonstrated financial need and socio-economic disadvantage, with preference given to students from underrepresented or financially challenged backgrounds.
- The panel will also assess applicants’ motivation for pursuing a STEM degree and their potential to contribute positively to the UCL community.
Application Process:
- The Goldsmid Fund Bursary is part of the Undergraduate Funding and Access Awards (UGFA) scheme.
- Applicants must apply through the UGFA webpage to be considered for this bursary.
Award: The award provides GBP 2,500 per year for a three-year undergraduate programme and is subject to satisfactory academic progress. The award will be paid as a maintenance allowance.
