Genea Scholarship
The Genea Scholarship in Science, generously supported by the Generations Foundation on behalf of Genea, provides encouragement and financial support to equity-based Bachelor of Biomedical Science students within the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute (BDI) at Monash University.
Eligibility criteria -
- The applicant must be an Australian citizen or a New Zealand citizen with an Australian permanent resident or an Australian humanitarian visa holder
- They must be commencing or continuing a student enrolled or intending to enrol in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science single degree in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at a Monash campus in Australia.
- Commencing students must achieve an ATAR score of 90+ (80+ for Indigenous students)
- Continuing students must achieve a 70+ WAM and be experiencing financial hardship.
- They must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 each semester.
Application process -
- The applicants must also surpass all the requirements set by the university.
Award - $6000 per 48 credit points up to 3 years.
