Overview

Fulbright- University of Turku Graduate Award offered by the Fulbright Finland Foundation for students planning to pursue their postgraduate studies at the University of Turku. 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree. 
  • The applicant must be applying to the master's degree or doctoral programs at the university.

Application Process:

  • The eligible candidates must first apply for the Fulbright grant competition.
  • Subsequently, the candidates must apply for admission to the university.

Value of the Award:

The selected candidates can avail of the following benefits:

  • EUR 1,000 per month for Master's students and EUR 1,200 per month for doctoral students for 2025-26.
  • Full tuition fee for Master's degree students.
  • Travel grant of USD 1,600.
  • Residence permit allowance and a supplemental accident and sickness benefit.
  • Opportunity to participate in a Fulbright Finland Foundation pre-approved summer school in Finland.
  • Opportunity to apply for additional funding from the Lois Roth Foundation.
  • Alumni network and activities provided for the grantees of the Fulbright Finland Foundation programs.
