About the Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded to a recently enrolled Master of Science, Bachelor of Science (Honours), or Postgraduate Diploma in Science School of Chemistry student who intends to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Science and has previously completed a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) at the University of Melbourne.

Eligibility for the Fred Walker Scholarship:

Applicants must:

Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (Honours), Graduate Diploma or first year of the Master of Science with the School of Chemistry.
Have completed a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) at the University of Melbourne.

Value of the Fred Walker Scholarship:

This scholarship provides a one-off payment of approximately $700 (depending on the annual income from the gift).

Application Process:

No separate application is required. Students will be considered for the scholarship upon enrollment with the university.
