Eligibility:

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Have Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
  • Self-identify as Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
  • Be acknowledged as Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander by their current or past community.
  • Be enrolled as a full-time student at Flinders University in any academic program.
  • Provide evidence of facing barriers that impact their ability to complete their education effectively.

Application Process:

  • Fill out the attached Proof of Indigeneity document.
  • Submit the completed document along with your online application via the Flinders University Student System by the given deadline.
  • Make sure your personal details are current in the Student System, as these will be used for your assessment.

Value:

  • Each scholarship is worth $4,000.
  • Payments will be made in two equal installments of $2,000 after the census date of each semester.
