Overview
First General Bank is committed to supporting economically challenged young adults residing in its business service territories to fulfill their dreams of obtaining a higher education.
Eligibility Criteria First General Bank Scholarship Program 2025:
- Students who are high school seniors who reside in Los Angeles County and Orange County, California.
- Students should plan to attend a U.S. Accredited 4-Year College/University or a Community College in the state of California as a 1st-year student in the Fall of 2025 (if selected, must submit a college acceptance letter for verification).
- Students must have a minimum cumulative unweighted college GPA of 3.0
- Students should have a household income at or below the Moderate-Income Level (Must be able to show a 2023 or 2024 tax return should the applicant be selected for the award.)
- The scholarship is open to ALL MAJORS, there is NO ETHNICITY REQUIREMENT.
- Employees of First General Bank and their immediate family members are NOT eligible to apply.
