Overview

Korean Society of Ultrasound in Medicine is offering the KSUM International Fellowship to candidates around the world who wish to get clinically trained in Korea. Clinical training in Korea will take place around the KSUM meeting dates, which are expected to be held jointly with the Asian Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (AFSUMB) from May 8th to 10th, 2025 in Seoul, Korea. 

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Applicants must be up to 40 years of age.
  • Applicants must be specialists with sufficient training and experience in medical ultrasound who have graduated from medical colleges.
  • The applicant must be fluent in English or Korean.
  • Applicants with KSUM International Membership and/or prior attendance at KSUM Annual Meetings are given first consideration.

Documents Required: 

  • Applicants should submit the following documents before the deadline:
    • Letter of recommendation addressed to the President of KSUM from the President of their national Society of Ultrasound in Medicine
    • Curriculum vitae
    • Medical report
    • Written pledge
    • Scanned copy of the applicant's passport
    • Copy of diploma
    • Copy of certificate of medical license
    • Copy of certificate of employment
    • Printed version of the online application form
