The Eric and Kathy Hertz Māori and Pacific Residential Scholarship supports Māori and Pacific students enrolled in the AUT Business School by helping reduce the cost of accommodation in an AUT Hall of Residence. The scholarship is intended to assist students with their living expenses while they focus on their academic studies and participate in university life.

Eligibility Criteria for the Eric and Kathy Hertz Māori and Pacific Residential Scholarship at Auckland University of Technology 2027:

  • Applicant must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
  • Applicant must be of Māori or Pasifika descent.
  • Applicant must have a provisional offer for full-time study or be entering the second or subsequent year of an undergraduate programme in the AUT Business School.
  • Applicant must intend to reside in an AUT Hall of Residence.

Application Process for the Eric and Kathy Hertz Māori and Pacific Residential Scholarship at Auckland University of Technology 2027:

  • Complete the AUT online scholarship application form.
  • Submit a written statement explaining how the scholarship would benefit the applicant.
  • New AUT students must provide their Year 12 NCEA Record of Achievement or equivalent and provisional offer of place.
