Overview

The Harvard University Center for the Environment is offering a fellowship program to recent doctorate recipients to enable them to use and expand Harvard's extraordinary resources to tackle complex environmental problems.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must:

  • Hold a PhD or equivalent terminal degree (awarded between May 2022 and August 2026)
  • Demonstrate strong research experience and academic excellence
  • Propose an independent research project beyond their PhD work
  • Secure a Harvard faculty member as a host/mentor
  • Be willing to commit to a 2-year full-time fellowship at Harvard.

Value of the Award:

The successful recipients of the award can avail of the following benefits:

  • Salary - $90,000 per year,
  • Employee health insurance eligibility,
  • Reimbursement for relocation expenses - up to $2,500,
  • Annual allowance for travel and other professional expenses - $2,500.
