Eligibility for Engineering International Excellence Scholarships:

  • The candidates applying for Engineering International Excellence Scholarships should be International applicants.
  • The candidates should have an offer of a place in the School of Engineering in the departments of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering, Bioengineering, MEng Engineering, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Civil and Structural Engineering, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
  • The applicants should begin their undergraduate studies in September 2023 at the University.
  • The candidates should be self-funding and classed as overseas for fee purposes.
  • Full-time students and part-time students are eligible for the scholarship.
  • The students studying online are not eligible.
  • The Engineering International Excellence Scholarships will not be awarded if partial funding is applicable from an external body.

Application conditions:

  • The candidates are not required to submit a separate application for the scholarship.
  • The scholarship will be given unconditionally in the first year of study.
  • The applicants should achieve 60% or above to continue receiving the scholarship.

Value of Scholarships:

Successful Engineering International Excellence Scholarship applicants will receive an award of up to GBP 3,000 towards tuition fees.
