Elizabeth Gray Scholarship
The Elizabeth Gray Scholarship was established by Liz's family, friends, and colleagues, who have formed an endowment fund, and is offered to students commencing the Juris Doctor from Indigenous Australian or refugee backgrounds who are financially disadvantaged.
Eligibility criteria for the Elizabeth Gray Scholarship:
- Applicants must be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and be accepted as such by the community in which you live or have lived.
- Applicants must have applied for the Juris Doctor through Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM) under the 'Disadvantaged socio-economic circumstances' category and submitted the Disadvantaged Socio-economic Circumstances Supplementary Form.
- Applicants must meet the Graduate Access Melbourne entry requirements for the Juris Doctor.
- Applicants must be Domestic students.
- Selection is based on academic merit and demonstrated financial need.
