About the Scholarship:

Earmarked scholarships are funded by the Australian Government to assist PhD students with their living costs and tuition fees. These scholarships offer PhD students the opportunity to contribute to large projects of national significance and work with leading researchers.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants must meet the entry requirements for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
  • Candidates should meet any specific requirements of the project.

Benefits:

  • Living stipend: AUD $36,400 per annum (2025 rate), indexed annually.
  • Tuition fees: Fully covered for the duration of the scholarship.
