Eligibility Criteria for the Dylan Alcott Foundation Scholarship at RMIT University 2025:
- Be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident, permanent humanitarian visa holder, temporary protection visa holder, asylum seeker, or an international student.
- Have a disability, long-term medical condition, or neurodiverse condition that impacts their ability to study.
- Be under 26 years old at the time of application.
- Be enrolling full-time or part-time in Semester 1, 2026 in an associate degree or bachelor’s degree at RMIT University.
- Be able to show circumstances that impact the study, such as:
- Receiving a government-tested low-income benefit or holding a Centrelink Health Care Card
- Experiencing personal, family, or social difficulties
- Being from an interstate/rural/regional area and relocating to Melbourne
- Having lived in foster/kinship care or being a ward of the state
- Being from an under-represented background.
- Be residing in Australia.
Value of the Dylan Alcott Foundation Scholarship at RMIT University 2025:
- For full-time enrolled students: up to $10,000 per year (up to $5,000 per semester) for up to one and a half years.
- For part-time enrolled students: up to $5,000 per year (up to $2,500 per semester) for up to three years.
- Payment split each semester:
- Up to 50% toward tuition fees
- Up to 50% as a stipend (living/study allowance)
