Created in 1997 by family and friends in loving memory of Dr. Paul Barclay-Estrup, Professor of Biology at Lakehead University from 1966-1990.
Awarded to a third or fourth year student majoring in Biology who has taken any number of the following plant ecology courses on the basis of financial need and a minimum B standing. 

Eligibility for Dr Paul Barclay-Estrup Memorial Bursary:

  • Must be a third- or fourth-year student majoring in Biology
  • Must have completed at least one of the following plant ecology courses
  • Must demonstrate financial need as assessed by the university’s bursary or awards process
  • Must maintain a minimum B academic standing.
