The Dr Leon Wescombe Scholarship in Medicine supports a final-year undergraduate student in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Tasmania.

Eligibility criteria for the Dr Leon Wescombe Honours Scholarship in Medicine:

Applicants must be final-year students completing any undergraduate degree within the School of Health Sciences.
Applicants must be studying at the Launceston campus.
Applicants must be completing their course in Semester 2, 2026 or Semester 1, 2027.
Selection is based on the quality of the written application.
