Overview:
The Doctors & Co Scholarship provides financial support to commencing students from the Greater Western Sydney region who face disadvantages and come from a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background, helping them cover the costs of undergraduate or postgraduate study at UTS.
Eligibility for The Doctors & Co Scholarship:
- Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent or humanitarian protection visa
- Residing in Greater Western Sydney at the time of application
- Commencing full-time in a UTS undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree (preference for Faculty of Health or UTS Business School)
- Demonstrate one or more educational barriers via a UAC Equity Scholarship application
- From a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background
- Provide evidence of CALD background or affiliation (e.g., refugee visa, birth certificate, or letter from a cultural community group with official seal)
- Apply via the UTS online Scholarship form, including a CV of education and work experience
- Available for an interview (online or in person)

- Demonstrated initiative to seek opportunities to continually advance their professional and personal lives
- Motivation to contribute to the community
Application Process:
- Recipients must remain enrolled full-time (minimum 18 credit points per session) in an eligible UTS undergraduate or postgraduate course.
- In exceptional circumstances, part-time study may be approved, with pro-rata payments for that period.
- Scholarships may be transferred to another eligible UTS course, with all prior payments counting toward the total scholarship amount.
