Eligibility Criteria for Deakin University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship:
Applicants must:
- Be a new international student applying for a Deakin coursework degree.
- Meet all entry requirements for their chosen course, including English language requirements.
- Have achieved a minimum 85% average (or equivalent) in previous academic studies.
- Submit a completed scholarship application with required supporting documents.
Conditions of eligibility:
- Not available to students enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine (H911) program.
- Meeting minimum eligibility does not guarantee selection — the process is competitive.
- Applicants who are not selected will automatically be considered for the Deakin International Scholarship.
Value of Deakin University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship:
- 100% or 50% tuition fee reduction, depending on scholarship outcome.
- Participation in the Vice-Chancellor’s Professional Excellence Program (VCPEP) (a mandatory component).
- Priority access to on-campus accommodation (at own cost and subject to availability).
- Scholarship valid for the normal duration of the chosen course.
