David and Winifred Bull Scholarship in Vocal Performance at Victoria University of Wellington 

The David and Winifred Bull Scholarship, supported by their friends in Martinborough, honors the Bulls’ long-time support of young singers at the New Zealand School of Music—Te Kōkī. Established after David’s passing in 2017, the scholarship provides annual support to an outstanding voice student at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.

Eligibility Criteria of David and Winifred Bull Scholarship in Vocal Performance:

Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents enrolled as Classical Voice students at the New Zealand School of Music.

Selection Criteria: Applicants will be assessed on their outstanding vocal and academic ability.

Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Award: NZD 3,500.

Note: 

1. The scholarship will be paid as one lump sum to the recipient.
2. The recipient will be asked to write a letter of thanks and an end of year progress report which will be forwarded to the donors.
