Eligibility Criteria for DairyNZ Postgraduate Scholarships:

Applicants must:

Be eligible to enrol in a postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD)
Be a New Zealand citizen or New Zealand permanent resident
Be willing to relocate if required to Hamilton, Palmerston North, or Lincoln (New Zealand)
Be based at a DairyNZ office during their research
Have strong academic qualifications
Demonstrate:
- Motivation for dairy research and development
- Existing engagement with the dairy industry (if applicable)
- Leadership ability
- Critical thinking skills

Value of DairyNZ Postgraduate Scholarships:

Master’s scholarship: NZD $35,000 per year + tuition fees
PhD scholarship: NZD $40,000 per year + tuition fees
