Overview

Currie Undergraduate Scholarships are given to students who are starting a college course outside of engineering after finishing high school in any of the four Atlantic Provinces. These scholarships aim to help fund the education of aspiring leaders.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant must be a Canadian national and a resident of the Atlantic Canadian Province.
  • Applicants of articulated degree programs are not eligible.
  • Applicants must demonstrate strong financial need.
  • Applicants must live in residence for the first year of their degree program.

Application Process:

  • Interested candidates must apply online for the scholarship.
  • The candidates must draft an essay of not less than 250 words on instances of overcoming barriers.

Value of the Scholarship:

The selected candidates are awarded a sum of CAD 75,000.
