Overview
Currie Undergraduate Scholarships are given to students who are starting a college course outside of engineering after finishing high school in any of the four Atlantic Provinces. These scholarships aim to help fund the education of aspiring leaders.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must be a Canadian national and a resident of the Atlantic Canadian Province.
- Applicants of articulated degree programs are not eligible.
- Applicants must demonstrate strong financial need.
- Applicants must live in residence for the first year of their degree program.
Application Process:
- Interested candidates must apply online for the scholarship.
- The candidates must draft an essay of not less than 250 words on instances of overcoming barriers.
Value of the Scholarship:
The selected candidates are awarded a sum of CAD 75,000.
