Named after Samford University’s first Rhodes Scholar (1910), the Crosland Scholarship recognizes students with outstanding academic achievements, strong character, and commitment to the common good.
Eligibility for the Crosland Scholarship:
- Freshmen applicants:
- ACT: 26 or higher or SAT: 1240 or higher
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 (on 4.0 scale)
- Applicants without test scores considered using weighted GPA.
- Transfer applicants:
- Minimum college GPA: 3.5
- At least 24 credits of undergraduate coursework completed
Value of the Scholarship:
- Average award: $17,500 per year
- Can be combined with other scholarships (Davis and Marvin Mann Legacy)
- Cannot be combined with the Marion Scholarship
