Eligibility Criteria for the CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy Future Women in Electrical Engineering Scholarship at RMIT University 2025:
- Identify as a woman.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident, or a permanent humanitarian visa holder.
- Be enrolled full-time in one of the following programs at RMIT University, Australia:
- 2nd year of Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering) (Honours) (BH073)
- 2nd year of Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) (Honours) (BH075)
- 3rd year of Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business (BH111)
- Have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher.
- Demonstrate high-level communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Be available for a 12-week paid work placement and/or Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity in their penultimate year.
- Not be committed to another employer (except casual/part-time work) for the duration of the scholarship.
- Be willing to participate in a mentoring program at CitiPower, Powercor, and United Energy.
Value of CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy Future Women in Electrical Engineering Scholarship at RMIT University 2025:
- $5,000 per year, for up to three years (dependent on academic performance).
- 12-week paid work experience placement and/or paid or unpaid WIL opportunity at CitiPower, Powercor, and United Energy.
- Participation in a mentoring program with the scholarship provider.
- Note: Considered taxable income if paid work is undertaken.
