Cindy and Dan Chernow Graduate Student Scholarship at California State University, Northridge 2025

The Cindy and Dan Chernow Graduate Student Scholarship was established to honor and support devoted alumni who decide to pursue post-undergraduate studies at Northridge University. The CSUN Alumni Association is the sponsor of this scholarship. Background information regarding your undergraduate experiences is a useful addition to your statement.

Eligibility Requirements:

• International Students are eligible to apply
• The candidate needs to be a Northridge senior or graduate.
• After graduating, alumni may apply for this scholarship at any time in the future.
• At the time of application, the candidate must have submitted an admissions application or be enrolled in a post-graduate or certification program at Cal State Northridge.
• participation and leadership in extracurricular and/or community activities that are meaningful and well-balanced
• Candidates need to submit one recommendation letter through the myMatador Scholarships website.
• Graduate students must enroll in 6 units or more during each term of the upcoming academic year
• GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0.
• Must submit an educational resume.

Value of the Scholarships:

Successful Receive an award of USD 3,000

All recipients of this award agree to submit a thank you letter addressed to the Alumni Association Board of Directors Scholarship Committee for the award to disburse.
