Overview

Chinese-Proficient Scholarship (Hua Yu Scholarship) is provided by the National Taipei University of Technology to international students who have enrolled in a bachelor's level program at the University.

Eligibility Criteria for Chinese-Proficient Scholarship (Hua Yu Scholarship) at Taipei Tech 2025:

  • Applicants must be admitted to an undergraduate-level course at the university.
  • Applicants must be classed as international students.
  • Overseas Chinese students are not eligible.
  • Applicants must submit one of the following certificates:
    • TOCFL B Level or above.
    • Chinese Subject - Level C or above in SPM Test.
    • Chinese Subject - Level C or above in UEC Test.
    • Other proofing mentioned by the Steering Committee for the Test Of Proficiency-Huayu.

Application Process:

Students offered an unconditional letter will receive an online application form by mail. 

Value of the Scholarship:

Selected applicants will receive a 50% tuition fee waiver from the National Taipei University of Technology.
