Cheatham White Scholarship Program at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) 2026

Cheatham-White Scholarship is offered by North Carolina Central University to support bachelor's applicants based on merit.

Eligibility for the Cheatham White Scholarship :

• Applicants must be enrolled as freshmen in the fall semester at NCCU.
• Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the US.
• Applicants must have a minimum weighted or unweighted CGPA of 4.0 or higher.
• Applicants must have a minimum SAT score of 1280 or an ACT score of 28. 
• Applicants must display exceptional qualities of character and leadership.
• Applicants must be significantly involved in extracurricular activities.
• Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to service.

Application (Nomination) Process:

• A high school authority, such as the principal, vice-principal, or guidance counselor, must recommend a student; the student may also nominate themselves.
• The student will have access to the Cheatham-White Application following receipt and assessment of their nomination.
• The application must be filled out completely, with all supporting materials attached, and submitted by November 15th at the latest.
