CFUW Victoria - Peggy and Murray Matheson Award
The CFUW Victoria - Peggy and Murray Matheson Award is established by the Canadian Federation of University Women - Victoria, the United Way of Greater Victoria, and supported by the Horner Foundation.
Eligibility criteria for the CFUW Victoria - Peggy and Murray Matheson Award:
- Applicants must be women.
- Applicants must be currently registered students at the college.
- Applicants must have Indigenous ancestry, including First Nations, Metis, Inuit, or Native American ancestry.
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent.
- Financial need will be strongly considered.
- Applicants must be taking or continuing Indigenous coursework.
- Preference is given to Indigenous applicants who work or volunteer with a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of Indigenous people.
