Center for Chinese Studies (CCS) Research Grant Program 2026

The Center for Chinese Studies is offering Research grants for Foreign Scholars in Taiwan to foreign professors, associate professors, assistant professors, and doctoral candidates in departments related to Chinese studies at foreign universities. The research should be undertaken in Taiwan in the field of Chinese studies.

Eligibility for CCS Research Grant:

Applicants must:

• Be a foreign professor, associate professor, assistant professor (including post-doctoral researchers), or doctoral candidate in departments related to Chinese studies at a foreign university, or a researcher at a related foreign academic institute.
• Conduct research in Taiwan, focused primarily on Taiwan or Chinese studies.

Value of CCS Research Grant:

• Travel Subsidy: One round-trip economy class air ticket from the grantee’s home country to Taipei.
