CEAS Postdoctoral Fellowship In Chinese Studies, 2017-18

The Stanford University is offering postdoctoral fellowships in Chinese studies at the Center for East Asian Studies to scholars in the humanities and social sciences.

Eligibility

• The candidates applying for CEAS Postdoctoral Fellowship In Chinese Studies, 2017-18 should have obtained their Ph.D. before August 31 the year in which the fellowship begins.
• The applicants should not be more than four years beyond receipt of the doctoral degree at the beginning of the fellowship.
• The fellowship may be given to applicants holding those who hold continuing, assistant professor-level teaching positions provided they meet other application qualifications.
• The candidates who have received their Ph.D. from the Stanford University are not considered.
• The applicants need not have the US citizenship.

• The candidates applying for CEAS Postdoctoral Fellowship In Chinese Studies, 2017-18 should submit a curriculum vitae, two recommendation letters, and two syllabi for proposed courses.
• The applicants should submit a research statement not more than 5 pages and a writing sample not more than 30 pages.

Value of the fellowship
The recipients of CEAS Postdoctoral Fellowship In Chinese Studies, 2017-18 get a stipend of $60,000.
