Brazil Family Foundation Agricultural Scholarship at University of Southern Queensland 2026:
The Brazil Family Foundation Agricultural Scholarship at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) supports students commencing or continuing eligible bachelor’s degree programmes in agriculture and related fields. In Trimester 2 2026, UniSQ will offer three scholarships, funded through a generous gift from the Brazil Family Foundation.
Eligibility Criteria for the Brazil Family Foundation Agricultural Scholarship at University of Southern Queensland 2026:
- Applicant must be a domestic student currently residing in Australia.
- Applicant must have commenced, or be commencing, full-time study at UniSQ in Trimester 1 or Trimester 2 2026.
- Applicant must be enrolled in one of the following eligible bachelor’s degree programmes, including applicable double degree programmes:
- Bachelor of Agricultural Technology and Management
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Agricultural Engineering)
- Bachelor of Science (Animal Science)
- Bachelor of Science (Food Science)
- Bachelor of Science (Plant Agricultural Science)
- Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Agriculture)
Selection Criteria for the Brazil Family Foundation Agricultural Scholarship at University of Southern Queensland 2026:
- Applicant must address each of the required personal statement questions, with a maximum of 250 words per question:
- Describe the experiences or influences that have driven the applicant’s passion for their chosen field of study.
- Describe the applicant’s career goals within their chosen field and the impact they hope to make as a professional.
- Applicant must provide evidence of academic achievement as directed in the application process, such as a final-year school report card or post-secondary academic transcript.
Application Process:
- Applicant must submit an application through the UniSQ Scholarships Online Application Management System.
- Applicant must provide the required personal statements and evidence of academic achievement as part of the application.
Value of the Scholarship:
- Each scholarship has a maximum value of AUD 24,000.
- The scholarship is paid over three years.

- UniSQ will offer three scholarships in Trimester 2 2026.
- The scholarship was first offered in 2025 and is funded by the Brazil Family Foundation.
- If an applicant holds other UniSQ scholarships, this may be taken into consideration during the selection process.
- Some UniSQ scholarships cannot be held concurrently with other awards.
