Established in 2014 thanks to the kind donations of BJ Freeman (Bachelor of Science '81, Bachelor of Commerce '85), this scholarship supports students studying commerce in the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Law (BEL) based on financial need.

Eligibility for the BJ Freeman Scholarship in Commerce at the University of Queensland:

  • The applicant must be a domestic student.
  • The applicant must be able to show financial difficulty.
  • Candidates for a Bachelor of Commerce should enrol full-time, including dual enrollment.
