Overview
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident as defined by the Commonwealth.
- Students need to be new commencing and continuing students in their 1st/2nd/3rd year of the Joint Medical Program Bachelor of Medical Science / Doctor of Medicine degree.
- The applicant has resided for at least 5 years consecutively or 10 years cumulatively in a rural and/or remote location (ASGS Remoteness Areas RA2-5), as defined by the Government Remoteness Tool.
- Applicant is enrolling or enrolled in a Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine within the Joint Medical Program at the University of New England.
Application Process:
Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.
Value of the Scholarship:
The students will receive AUD 5,000 per annum.
