Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellows Summer Institute is a program designed for fostering stronger relations between young Americans and Europeans. This program is launched by the State Department, a branch of the US Federal Government through the Bulgarian Embassy.

Eligibility for Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellows Summer Institute for Youth Program:

  • The applicant must be a Bulgarian national.
  • The applicant's age must be between 16 and 18 at the time of the program's initiation.
  • The applicant must be proficient in English.
  • The applicant must be prepared to pursue higher studies in their country after the completion of the program.
  • The applicant must have performed very well academically.
  • The applicant must be an active part of the community and committed to extracurricular activities.
