Overview

The goal of Northumbria Law School's Bar Course programs is to draw in students of the greatest caliber.  The university's goal is to promote accessibility and open doors for talented and driven students wishing to pursue careers in law. Northumbria Law School is happy to provide five Bar Course Scholarships in support of this goal.

Eligibility for Bar Scholarship at Northumbria University:

  • The applicant can be a domestic, international, or EU applicant.
  • The candidate must have applied to enroll in Northumbria University's Bar Program, which will start in September 2026. Note that candidates do not need to have an offer in hand at the time of application.
  • After that, the candidate must stick to the requirements stated in their offer to enroll in the Bar Course.
  • The candidate must be a self-funded student and not have any costs covered entirely or in part by an employer-sponsored program.

Eligible Courses:

  • Bar Course one year Full-Time
  • Bar Course two years Part-Time
  • Bar Course (LLM) one year Full-Time
  • Bar Course (LLM) two years Part-Time
