AUT International Student Accommodation Scholarship 2027:
The AUT International Student Accommodation Scholarship supports new-to-AUT and new-to-programme international students commencing full-time study at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in Semester One 2027. The scholarship provides subsidised accommodation at Te Āhuru Mayoral Drive Student Accommodation (MDSA), located near AUT City Campus, offering modern, single studio-style accommodation in central Auckland.
Eligibility Criteria for the AUT International Student Accommodation Scholarship 2027:
- Applicant must be a full fee-paying international student and must not be a citizen, permanent resident, or resident visa holder of New Zealand or Australia.
- Applicant must be new to AUT or new to their programme and hold a current, valid conditional or unconditional offer to study full-time at AUT commencing in Semester One 2027.
- Applicant must be enrolled for a minimum of 120 points for the academic year.
- Applicant must agree to enter into a Residential Contract to live at Te Āhuru Mayoral Drive Student Accommodation for the 40-week academic year period from 6 February to 13 November 2027.
- Applicant enrolled in an AUT-approved pathway or bridging programme of one academic year or shorter must progress immediately into an undergraduate degree at AUT to meet the full-time enrollment requirement for this scholarship.
Application Process for the AUT International Student Accommodation Scholarship 2027:
- Applicant must complete and submit the AUT International Student Accommodation Scholarship application form.
- Applicant must provide the required information and supporting details as part of the application.
Value of the Scholarship:
- Recipients receive a 50% rebate on weekly accommodation rental, valued at up to NZD 9,920 for 40 weeks.
- The scholarship covers one self-catered studio room for a single resident at Te Āhuru Mayoral Drive Student Accommodation.
- The scholarship applies to accommodation for Semester One and Semester Two of 2027.
- The scholarship does not cover the accommodation application fee, residential life fee, security deposit, or other additional accommodation-related costs. These costs must be paid by the recipient upon signing the accommodation agreement.
Notes:
- The scholarship is awarded for up to 40 weeks in 2027, covering the MDSA Academic Year 40-week period from 6 February to 13 November 2027.
- The scholarship is paid in regular monthly installments to the student's accommodation account for the duration of their residence, up to the maximum scholarship tenure.
