ANU Doherty PhD Supplementary Scholarship 2026

The Doherty PhD Supplementary Scholarship is offered annually by the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) at the Australian National University (ANU).

Eligibility for ANU Doherty PhD Supplementary Scholarship:

Applicants must:

• Be awarded and continue to hold an Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) Stipend Scholarship or an equivalent PhD living-expenses scholarship.
• Be enrolled or enrolling full-time in the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at the John Curtin School of Medical Research.
• Hold an Australian Bachelor Honours degree with First Class Honours or equivalent.
• Have research publications and/or relevant research experience.

Value of ANU Doherty PhD Supplementary Scholarship:

The scholarship provides a top-up of $10,000 per annum paid fortnightly in arrears for 3 years or in-line with the student's base stipend.

Application Process:

• No separate application required.
• All eligible applicants holding an AGRTP or equivalent stipend are automatically considered.
